This laboratory is enriched with components like Transistors, Various ranges of Carbon Resistors, Variable Pots, Various Colour LEDs, Relays, Transformers, Digital ICs, Analog ICs, Bread Boards, Solder Irons, Diodes, Power Devices etc.

ELECTRICAL MACHINES LAB

The laboratory is equipped with AC and DC Machines, Special Machines and Transformers includes shunt and series dc generators and motors, 3 phase induction motors, synchronous motor, alternators, BLDC drive etc.

CIRCUIT AND NETWORK LAB

This laboratory is equipped with modules kits for verification of network laws and theorems like Thevenin’s Theorem, Norton’s Theorem, Super Position Theorem, Maximum Power Transfer Therorm, Tellegen’s Theorem, Two Port Network, Two Port Ladder Network, etc.

ELEMENTS OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING LAB

Laboratory having various trainer kits for verification of basic electrical engineering laws and theorems like Kirchhoff’s Laws, Two Wattmeter Method, Resonance, Capacitor Charging and discharging.

POWER ELECTRONICS LAB

It is equipped with inverters trainer, IGBT, UJT, SCR and MOSFET Characteristics Trainer, AC voltage controllers, Chopper Trainer, Rectier Trainers, DC drives, Digital Storage Scopes, Function Generators and Workstation

MICROPROCESSOR & MICRO CONTROLLER LAB

The students learn about using 8085 for controlling purpose in various engineering applications. This laboratory is equipped with various trainer kits for 8085 based microprocessor and 8085 based interfacing, dc motor speed control.

COMMISSIONING OF ELECTRICAL LAB

In the broad field of Electrical Engineering, various equipment and systems are used to cater to the application for Electrical power generation, transmission, distribution, control, instrumentation and domestic application. Each one of the products/ equipment requires a wide variety of tests and hence a need of specialized testing facility (Laboratory).

Laboratory soft-wares like MATLAB, MIPOWER, PSIM are useful for performing simulation and programming based practical likes load flow study, ShortCircuit Study, Transient Stability Study, Economic Dispatch, Relay Co-ordination, Harmonic analysis, Voltage Instability Analysis, Dynamic stability study with Network Reduction, Performance of transmission line, FACTS devices, Performance analysis of Various Drive systems and Time Response of Control Systems, DC Motor Modeling, Plotting of Root Locus, Bode Plot, Nyquist Plot, PI Controller for Closed Loop System.

ANALOG ELECTRONICS LAB

The laboratory sessions under this course on analog electronics also give them the opportunity to design and test the working of their own electronic circuits. Thus, the overall goal of this laboratory is to be an essential component in the learning of the practical aspects of Analog Electronic circuit functioning, implementation as well as being familiar with common mistakes while assembling such circuits.

DIGITAL ELECTRONICS LAB

Digital electronic Laboratory is used for teaching various combinational logic circuits, sequential logic circuit and to carry out class and design projects based on digital electronics. It is equipped with sophisticated measuring instrument like oscilloscope, DC power supplies, and various trainer kits for verification of digital electronics based practical.

BASIC ELECTRONICS LAB

Basic electronic Laboratory is used primarily for teaching linear, nonlinear electronics devices, basic circuit and to carry out class and design projects. It is equipped with sophisticated measuring instrument like oscilloscope, DC power supplies, function generator and various trainer kits for verification of basic electronics principle, theorem and law.

INDUSTRIAL INSTRUMENTATION LAB

Industrial instrumentation is an art of science for measurement, control and monitoring various electrical and nonelectrical parameters in industries. This laboratory will engage students for rigorous experimental learning in the field of Industrial instrumentation. This laboratory is also facilitated with basic and advance measuring instrument as well as testing kit.
