Achievements

• Received the Charotar Vidyamandal award for the Best Teacher in the Degree Engineering Colleges in Gujarat, for the year 2002, given by Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), at the 32nd ISTE Annual Convention at NITTE, Mangalore in December, 2002.
• The Ph.D. thesis was evaluated as Second Best Doctoral Thesis in the area of Geotechnical Engineering, amongst all nominated theses from IITs and NITs, by the Indian Geotechnical Society, New Delhi, for the year 2011.
• Was Selected unanimously, as President, Indian Geotechnical Society – Ahmedabad Chapter, for the term 2012-2014.
• Joint author of the book entitled Cement : Uses and Preservation (in Gujarati), published by CEPT, Ahmedabad in December, 1996.
• Principal Coordinator, ISTE Short Term Training Programme on “Earthquake Geotechnical Aspects for Infrastructural Developments”, held in December 2011, at Institute of Technology, Nirma University, Ahmedabad.
